Chen is currently the head of Sax Radio Ensemble, saxophonist in Sixarts Music, orchestra member in Kaohsiung City Wind Orchestra (KCWO) and saxophone teacher in schools at all levels in Taiwan. After studying in France, he returned to Taiwan and dedicated himself to saxophone performance, teaching, personal music creation and commissioning composers to make original saxophone music. Besides, Chen is also making an effort to promoting saxophone chamber music and various forms of saxophone performance. Chen has performed with well-known international saxophonist from France, Japan, Australia, and Shanghai. In 2018, he performed with the internationally renowned saxophonist Mr. Nobuya Sugawa in his two saxophones and piano trio work “Tu me manques”(I miss you).

So far, Chen has participated in hundreds of concerts at home and abroad, including orchestra, wind orchestra, small chamber orchestra, and saxophone chamber orchestra.

Since 2014, he regularly holds the recital “Ku Jung CHEN Saxophone Fantasy Journey”.

From 2015 to 2019, he organized the Saxophone Radio Ensemble Music Festival in Kaohsiung City.

In 2018, he organized the first “International Saxophone Music Camp” in Kaohsiung City and invited well-known saxophonists from Taiwan, Japan, Australia, and Shanghai. The activities of the camp included concerts of classical, popular, and modern music styles, master lectures and master classes.

In 2019, he conducted a lecture tour of “Meeting Saxophone” in schools at all levels in Taiwan to promote the art of saxophone and was greatly echoed.
